Motivated by her history of competing around the world as a member of the Canoe/Kayak National Team, dealing with injuries, and exploring new forms of mindfulness, breath and movement, she developed a love for Yoga. After earning her honours degree in Psychology, in 2018 Emily travelled to Costa Rica for her 200hr Yoga Teacher certification, in 2019 she completed her Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher certification and 2020 her 50hr Yin Teacher Training in Calgary. She is an NCCP certified coach with over 10 years of coaching canoe kayak and dragon boat to all ages. She has taught yoga in Vancouver studios, schools, athlete workshops, Calgary sports clubs, and community centres. Emily's purpose in teaching others yoga is to create a space to foster self-exploration. She believes yoga should be accessible to every body. You can find her in the garden or exploring the local lakes by kayak or standup paddle board. Emily currently resides in Calgary with her daughter Violet and husband Ben.

My Restore class is a welcome and much-needed break from the stress and speed of day to day life. Restore is perfect if you are looking to dive deeper into the breath, connect with your body and find your edge in yin postures. Available online from the comfort of home.

Sessions are unique to age groups (stage of athlete development) and built around the performance goals of the team.
